Arbor Rose hosted a brain health fair on Tuesday, May 12th welcoming over 75 guests who visited the assisted living community to learn more about the importance of keeping the mind engaged in order to stay healthy and independent longer. Booths that showcased the concepts of social, cognitive, mental, nutritional and spiritual health were filled with hands-on demonstrations and hosted by staff members from Arbor Rose and Jerome Home.
The afternoon was highlighted by a presentation by Dr. Harry Morgan, President of The Center for Geriatric and Family Psychiatry, Inc. Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres and cocktails and enjoyed a question and answer period with Dr. Morgan.
